Awarded grants

The Jenny and Antti Wihuri Foundation awards grants to support economic and cultural development in Finland.

The Jenny and Antti Wihuri Foundation distributed 12 million euros in grants and awards, 9 October 2017. This is the largest amount distributed in the history of the Foundation. Grants were awarded to 331 private persons and working groups and 104 to organizations, altogether to 435 applicants.

The Foundation received 4 903 grant applications which summed up to 99 million euros. Therefore 12 % of the applied amount could be distributed.

During 75 years the Foundation has distributed 297 million euros in today’s money.
