Grant Call 2025: Communications Sparring
Need help sharpening up your project plan? Looking for a fresh perspective on how to present your project’s impact? Join a short communications sparring session to get feedback and spark new ideas for your project proposal.
When applying for a grant, it’s crucial to present your work clearly and concisely, covering all the essentials. A crisp, well-edited application shows that you know your stuff — and among equally strong proposals, the polished ones stand out.
We also ask applicants to reflect on the impact of their project in their application. But what exactly does that mean? In short: besides explaining what you plan to do, you should also highlight why your project matters. Since we fund a wide range of projects, we understand that for some applicants, defining the broader impact of their work may feel trickier than for others.
You’re welcome to discuss these communication-related and impact-focused questions in a casual way in our communications sparring sessions sessions, hosted by our communications specialist Heini Huhtinen on 19th and 23rd May.
Before your session, take a moment to consider what kind of support or tips you’d find most helpful for your application, or which part of the application text you’d like to focus on.
Please note: these coaching sessions are specifically for communication-related questions and won’t cover general grant advice. If you have questions about filling out the application, grant amounts, or eligibility, for example, please contact our office directly: weekdays from 9 AM to 4 PM by phone at 09 45 42 400, or by email at toimisto@wihurinrahasto.fi.
You can book your personal sparring session via the booking link. Each session lasts 20 minutes and is held remotely via Teams.
